Job Introduction

We are recruiting a Workspace Manger will be known as a Community Lead to join our Rapport team, based at our Client's amazing portfolio of buildings in various locations in and around Central London. Our Client is innovative real estate company, focusing on creating sustainable, community-oriented spaces that blend work and leisure; integrating green initiatives, promoting collaboration, and aiming to foster vibrant and inclusive environments that cater to modern lifestyles.

The Community Lead will play a crucial role in leading and managing the Community Managers, Coordinators, Club Lounge teams and spaces, Hospitality and Events, lone workers and flexible workspaces.

The role holder will take personal ownership and responsibility for the standards of service delivered at the Client's locations, and will be responsible for the management of all budgetary elements of the role, driving efficiencies in line with the Client's overall budget needs.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), working on a shift rota basis from Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM. Flexibility in the hours and ability to support evening. 

Some of the main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Managing the team and client relationships, fostering a positive working environment
  • Ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly
  • Assisting/leading project work required by the Client
  • Actively encouraging client and guest feedback, driving change that enhances services provided, maximising technology, innovation and sustainability in the process, and communicating best practice across the team
  • Being involved in HR-related processes (e.g., Recruitment, Reward and Recognition, people management)
  • Participating and contributing in business meetings, providing and analysing data, statistics, and reports where and when necessary
  • Developing strategic plans and assessing performance, profitability and team management objectives

The ideal candidate will

  • Previous experience in managing flexible workspace and workplace services is essential. Marketing experience preferred
  • Be able to naturally create rapport with people, and lead with a positive attitude

  • Complete tasks with attention to detail, and thorough anticipating needs
  • Positively influence relationships, working together to achieve common goals, and supporting strategies of Rapport and the Client

  • Be Sales-focused, flexible with a "can-do" attitude
  • Possess strong leadership skills and ability to handle challenging situations in a calm manner
