Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Receptionist/Ambassador to join our Guest Services team. This role is pivotal in providing the highest level of service and care to all employees and visitors, aligning with our service level agreements and established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to creating a welcoming and efficient environment. As a reliable and adaptable team member, you will be instrumental in enhancing the guest experience and contributing to the team's success.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 7 PM)

Main responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all guests and clients promptly with professionalism, eye contact, and a warm, friendly manner.
  • Manage visitor registration, track unregistered guests, and ensure smooth transitions and handovers between staff.
  • Provide regular updates and refreshments to waiting guests, maintaining a welcoming lounge environment.
  • Respond to enquiries and requests promptly via phone, email, or in person, offering knowledgeable and courteous support.
  • Stay informed about building events, team members, and facilities to accurately direct and assist visitors.
  • Support concierge services including bookings, transport enquiries, and local recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable reception area and work environment, monitor supplies and report maintenance issues.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and cross-training programs; provide coverage during absences.
  • Follow safety, security, and fire procedures; ensure accurate handovers and communication across shifts.
